RIP Davy :(

Poor Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.

For those of you who don't know, I am a HUGE fan of the Brady Bunch. By huge fan, I mean that I've seen every episode, read multiple books and biographies, and tried to get rid of my freckles by rubbing lemons on my face.
I digress. Today, Davy Jones of the Monkees passed away. The Monkees were another huge love of mine from my youth. I loved watching their TV show and when I found out about Davy's passing I almost got teary eyed. Who knew I cared so much? Weird.


So anyway, you're probably like "What the fuck does this have to do with the Brady Bunch?" Well, he guested on an episode where Marcia got Davy Jones to come to her school and sing at the prom. This episode sparked my little crush on him (even though he was old enough at that time to be my father. Ew).
When I was a kid, to see a guest star on a television show was a magical experience. I'm sure you think it's sad now, but you have to learn to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

RIP Davy Jones. You will be missed.
