How can people live in a house with a finicky toilet? The first thing we did when we moved in was fix that shit. It's dirt cheap to fix the flushing stuff too. This leaves me with the impression that people that leave their toilets broken are just lazy. "Oh, just hold the flusher down for 5.8 seconds, then put the lid down, then up, then down again". FUCK THAT.
There is no terror quite like going to flush the toilet at someone's house and the water not only doesn't swirl down the hole at the bottom, but rises and KEEPS ON RISING until it's on the CUSP of overflow...then slowly makes its way back down....if I hadn't already just gone I'd be shitting myself.
FIX YOUR TOILETS, PEOPLE. Or just don't have me over. :)
