F.U.F. - It's back, baby!

Lots of things to give the ol' FUCK YOU to today.
First up: Dreams.
I hate dreams. I love sleeping, but dreams just plain suck. There are cool elements of dreams...like dreaming about flying or getting to meet an idol, one time I dreamed about grape and vanilla ice cream mixed together like a checkerboard. Dreams can make the impossible, possible. So why do I hate them? Simple. Either way you dream, you wake up going "FAAAACK."
Scenario 1: I had a dream that I was hanging out with Foo Fighters. They knew who I was, they wanted to be with me because they thought I was COOL. They signed stuff for me, and I was thinking that my life was going to get SO much cooler...then what happens? BAM. I wake up, and realize that I don't know them, that none of that actually happened and I'm NOT cool. FAAACK.
Scenario 2: I had a dream that something was wrong with my cat. My bf decides that he's going to put her down. Before he has a chance, I want to hug her one more time, but it's too late. I picture hugging her cold, dead little body. I wake up CRYING. FAAACK. Since I was so stressed in my dream, it's like I didn't even rest.
Either way, dreams just fuck you. I'd rather not dream at all. (Sometimes I wonder what if life is just a coma dream? A big long coma dream....that'd be fucked.) Anyway, FUCK YOU, DREAMS!

Second up: Glee. I've talked about Glee before. I like some of the goings-on on the show, but I can't stand the singing, and NOT because I think they're bad...not at all. I think all the people on that show have great voices...which is why I don't understand why they have to autotune the SHIT out of them. I saw a commercial for the Glee Christmas album and I was bored to tears. It was someone singing the Grinch song and it was SO BANAL and autotuned to the extreme. These people have great voices, why do you have to strip them of all their originality and make them sound like perfect robots? I really have a hard time listening to any of the songs they sing because the tuning is SO distracting. I wish they'd just leave it so people can see how singers are SUPPOSED to sound...there's no warmth in the voice...its like the difference between an MP3 and vinyl. It's stripping the warmth and individuality out of music. If I wanted to listen to processed auto-tuned holiday dreck I'd buy a Jingle Cats CD. FUCK YOU, GLEE!
