So today is HALLOWE'EN! I took a real shine to Hallowe'en this year, watching a shit ton of scary movies and buying candy for the kiddies (although not too many have come by so I guess I get a Hallowe'en too), and I actually decided last night that I wanted to get a pumpkin to carve. I went to the grocery store and asked if they had any pumpkins left, and the guy looked at me like I was crazy..."Nope..?" The event hasn't even happened yet! So I wandered the dirt mall looking for ANYTHING Hallowe'en. I went into Home Hardware for some cheap decor and it looked like the picture up there. I swear to God, Santa had come to town. The only Hallowe'en crap they had left were a couple of tiny ceramic pumpkins. I thought I was fucked. I went to the Pharmaplus and they actually had a handful of spooky stuff left, and heavily discounted. Score. I got a kewl skull candle holder and a little hanging skeleton dude with blue and black hair for $4 total. Whee! I expected Hallowe'en stuff to be gone tomorrow sure, but actual Hallowe'en? Jumping the gun...so not cool. We need to enjoy it while it's here, I mean so much time is spent preparing for it to come...it's not fair that people try and rush it over with. SO, enjoy your Hallowe'en, stuff your mouth with candy and scare the shit out of yourself! BOO!
My favorite part of Hallowe'en is getting to hear this song...amazing.
