Happy Holid--fuck it. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

When I was little, Christmas was HUGE and it was everywhere. At school we learned Christmas carols, at daycare we did a play of the first Christmas. There were Christmas trees everywhere, and people said "Merry Christmas". The past decade or so it seems like Christmas has become taboo. All of the sudden Christmas trees are OFFENSIVE to people. Are you fucking kidding me? Since when has a decorated tree offended anyone? They used to put up Christmas trees at city hall, but then 1 person complains that it's offensive to them since they don't celebrate Christmas and it's taken down.
FUCK THAT SHIT. Then all of the sudden you can't say Merry Christmas to people...that's apparently offensive too. I'm barely offended by anything and maybe that's why I can not wrap my mind around this...at all. I am so glad that Christmas was 'allowed' when I was a little kid. Even though I hate Christmas carols (probably from my years working retail and having a dancing Santa behind me for 2 Christmas seasons constantly singing "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree".....barf) I love hearing them now out of SPITE.
JINGLE BELL, MOTHERFUCKER!
I've noticed this Christmas though...a slight revolt against the PC Holiday bullshit that Christmas has now become...
People are standing up for poor old Santa and wishing people a Merry Christmas again. It's like a thawing of the Grinch's heart! It's about time. I didn't see what was so offensive about any of it in the first place...so what if you don't celebrate it? It's not like if it doesn't have anything to do with you that it's automatically offensive and not allowed...people need to lighten the fuck up. Do you see single people bitching and moaning about having to see/hear/be bombarded with Valentines Day shit (well ok you do...but it's not because they're 'offended' by it, only because they're crusty and alone)? Do you see people that aren't mothers (or women that can't be mothers) bitching about Mother's Day? No. Christmas, above all, is about love, joy and peace. Don't make it into something sinister. Please note that I mean absolutely NO disrespect to other religions and what they celebrate..I just don't like when people try to put a damper on what they don't celebrate.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, EAT A BAG OF DICKS!
