File this under irrational peeves, but for some reason I really hate when people name their female pets human girl names. It doesn't work the same way for male pets...I think naming a boy dog something like "Bob" is hilarious. Naming a girl dog Sophie though? Ugh. It makes me already hate the dog, and the dog could be as cute and nice as the Littlest Hobo. I used to date a guy and his dog's name was Julia. It's just weird, ok...and I hate it. I don't need a good reason. Here's a list of the top 10 Girl Dog names. I hate every single one of them for a dog except for Daisy. Like...Molly??? Really? I hate that name even for a human.
