Sympatico.ca homepage is running a headline today called "Bands we pretend to like" and it's a list of bands that girls and guys pretend to like to get into eachothers pants. It is complete BULLSHIT! They put this as a headline? It almost also kind of infuriates me, like girls can't just LIKE rock or metal? Fuck you! Maybe lame ass girls have to pretend, not ones that love this shit and are already cool like me and my other cool rock girl friends.
Here is the list of bands that apparently women just "pretend" to like:

I love the majority of that list, but even if I don't like a band, I would never PRETEND to, to get with someone, because then not only are you not being true, you're going to have to listen to the shit. Music means enough to me that I'm going to want to be with someone that has similar musical tastes as me, since it governs a HUGE part of my life.
But anyway, that is the ridiculous thinking I have to deal with a lot being a rock singer, but thankfully once they see me perform, they know I'm not fucking pretending. What a stupid, bullshit, goddamn motherfucking article!
