I am terrified of opening Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. When I was a kid I remember peeling back that label around and around like a jack in the box and waiting for the dough to *POP* out and scare the living shit out of me.
A few years ago I dared to open one again, but the buildup of waiting for it to pop and be scared was TOO MUCH. I couldn't do it. I had the bf open it...only he peeled the whole label off and nothing happened. It was like pulling the pin on a grenade and then having it sit there. Was it waiting to pop? If I touched it, would it explode in my hand?
It just sat there. Eventually the bf used a spoon handle to open the can. Then we made sweet, warm crescent rolls, the kind where you open them, and 'hot' comes out. MM.
