Here in Toronto we have the CN Tower. It's tall. One of the attractions is the 'glass floor'. I've been up the CN Tower once in my adult life, and of course I wanted to see what the glass floor was all about. << I mean, that's pretty much it, right there. Is it cool? Yeah. It's ok. But what I didn't get, were there people absolutely FLIPPING THE FUCK OUT when they were standing on it.
One lady had to be prodded on by her friend. Kids were screaming as they ran across it really fast.
Some people were laying down on it while others looked at them like they were taking crazy pills.
DO YOU PEOPLE REALLY THINK SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN? It's a glass floor that's like 8 inches thick, not a piece of fucking tissue paper. It made me mental to see all these people freaking out over a transparent floor. If it was unsafe, would they cart dozens of people up there per hour (and charge them $30 for the experience)? For crying out loud people, get a grip. Hell, riding the giant swings at the Exhibition has more potential for danger if not death than the glass floor.
I don't get people.
