Better Late Than Never: F.U.F.

When I worked in retail/hospitality, I took my job seriously. I mean, as seriously as you could take folding jeans. Still--customer service is important. These people are paying your salary, even if sometimes you want to murder them. I've been there, I know what it's like...but that comes with the territory.

Getting the wrong order when I use the drive-thru might make me the maddest out of all things that make me mad (and there's a lot). I just don't understand how you can fuck up someone's order when your entire job is basically a game of 'memory' except there's some listening involved. Really. That's ALL THERE IS TO IT. I drive up...say what I want, you a)listen, b)match up what I want with what you have there c)put it in a bag. ALL THE JOB IS, IS LISTENING AND THEN PUTTING SHIT IN A BAG. Is it that difficult? It's so offensive to me when the order is wrong because I feel like it's them telling me "you're not worth my attention." Really, what else is it?? Pure stupidity?

Also, when I walk into your store/counter, and I'm greeted with someone that looks like buddy up here, like...buck the fuck up. I didn't come in here to deal with a miserable whine-bag. Put a fucking smile on your face and suck it up. No one is forcing you to work there, you're there because you need money. SO EARN IT. If you don't like your job, GET ANOTHER ONE. There's plenty of people out there unemployed that would love to take your job from you. So get the job done right, or EFF YOU! EFF YOU, apathetic teen employees!! Screw off for ruining my day with your ineptitude, since if you get my order wrong I WILL come back and insist that you fix it. I am not giving you my hard-earned cash for ANYTHING different than what I asked. And don't roll your eyes at me when I demand to be satisfied, even if it's something stupid like "I asked for GRILLED not CRISPY". That's what life is all about, standing up for yourself...no one else will!
